Kia America has set the starting price for the 2027 Kia EV6 at $37,900, matching the base cost of the previous model year. This decision keeps the entry-level electric crossover available at the same price point for buyers in the United States. The vehicle will reach dealers with seven distinct configurations, ranging from the base Light trim to the high-performance GT-Line with all-wheel drive.

The initial cost of $37,900 applies to the Light RWD model equipped with standard range capabilities. Buyers must add a destination fee of $1,545, bringing the total out-the-door starting price to $39,445 before taxes and dealer fees. The most expensive variant, the GT-Line AWD, is listed at $53,000. With the destination charge included, the fully equipped top-tier model reaches $54,545.

Kia introduced two equipment changes for the 2026 model year, including a dual-voltage charging cable and Plug & Charge functionality. The company has not announced additional hardware changes for the 2027 lineup. All seven versions are manufactured at the company's facility in West Point, Georgia.

Performance differences between the trims rely on battery capacity and drive configuration. The base Light RWD uses a 63 kilowatt-hour battery and a rear motor producing 167 horsepower, yielding an estimated range of 237 miles. The Light Long Range RWD upgrade costs an additional $3,300 and extends range to 319 miles using an 84 kilowatt-hour battery.

All-wheel drive options add $4,000 to the comparable rear-drive price. These models generate 320 horsepower but offer slightly less range than their rear-drive counterparts. The Long Range AWD variant provides up to 295 miles of range, while the GT-Line AWD is rated for 270 miles. Fast charging speeds vary by battery size, with the standard battery supporting up to 180 kilowatts and the larger battery reaching 240 kilowatts.

Charging times at home depend on the battery size when using an 11 kilowatt Level 2 charger. The smaller battery requires approximately 5 hours and 40 minutes for a full charge. The larger battery takes about 7 hours and 20 minutes to reach full capacity from empty.

Kia's decision to freeze prices arrives amid a decline in EV6 sales. According to data from CarBuzz, the model's sales volume fell by 43 percent through September 2026. This decrease follows another drop in sales recorded during the 2025 model year.

The 2027 EV6 lineup maintains the same structure as the previous year, with no reported adjustments to trim levels or base pricing. The price sheet does not include taxes, license plates, or specific dealer markups, which vary by location.
