He stated that the players executed at a high level, allowing the team to secure the necessary win. Noland emphasized that the squad simply attempted to be the best version of itself against a formidable opponent.
The coaching staff prepared the defense to handle the physicality of the matchup. Noland explained that the team practiced specific defensive schemes to counter the opponent's strengths. He noted that the preparation focused on limiting the other team's offensive production while maintaining offensive efficiency.
Regarding the playoff format, Noland addressed the complexity of the region's seeding. He indicated that the team remains focused on the immediate task of advancing through the bracket. The coach suggested that the players understand the stakes of the upcoming rounds without overthinking the larger picture.
Looking ahead, Noland discussed the team's approach to the postseason. He emphasized that the group will not change its fundamental methods because of its current standing. The coach stated that the team will continue to play with the same intensity and focus regardless of the opponent.
Jefferson will face a determined opponent in the next round. Noland acknowledged that the team must remain prepared for a physical contest. He indicated that the squad will treat every game as a separate challenge, aiming to maintain their performance level throughout the tournament.
