Bill Nighy, Hayley Atwell and Maisie Williams have joined the English-language voice cast of "The Last Dino," an upcoming CG-animated family feature directed by Federico Milella.

Nighy's credits include "Living" and "Love Actually," while Atwell is known for the "Mission: Impossible" and "Captain America" films and Williams for "Game of Thrones."

The film will make its market premiere at the American Film Market next week, ahead of its planned international theatrical releases in 2027. International sales are handled by Global Constellation, a Vuelta company, which has already secured distribution deals across multiple territories.

"The Last Dino" follows Rex, the son of the King of Dinosaurs, who is unexpectedly catapulted 65 million years into the future. He lands in a world where dinosaurs are extinct, being smart matters more than being strong, and being king of the jungle means absolutely nothing.

Determined to find his way home, Rex teams up with an unlikely crew of friends for a wild adventure that challenges everything he thought he knew about strength, friendship and family. Along the way, he discovers that family is not necessarily about where you come from but about who stands by your side, and that sometimes the greatest adventure is not finding your way home but finding where you truly belong.

Distribution deals are in place for France (KMBO), the U.K. and Ireland (Sky Original), Australia and New Zealand (Umbrella), Benelux (WWE), Portugal (Nos Audiovisuais), Poland (Forum Film), Hungary (Vertigo), the Czech and Slovak Republics (FoxxMedia), Bulgaria (ProFilm), the former Yugoslavia (MCF Megacom), the Baltics and Ukraine (Ad Astra), Greece and Cyprus (Filmtrade), Israel (Red Cape), Turkey and the Middle East and North Africa (Italia Film), Vietnam (Mockingbird), and Latin America (BF Distribution).

Written by Ben Smith ("StarDog and TurboCat"), the film is produced by Luxembourg-based animation studio Fabrique d'Images, in co-production with Belgium-based Freaks Factory ("Spiked"), U.K.-based Terrible Lizard Productions and Broadvision Perspectives India. The production is supported by Film Fund Luxembourg and Wallimage (Wallonia).

Global Constellation's Fabien Westerhoff said the film "combines irresistible slapstick comedy with heartfelt storytelling in a hugely entertaining time-travelling adventure for the family," adding: "We're delighted to present the film to buyers at AFM ahead of its international theatrical rollout in 2027."
